A main avenue leads down to the seafront and is filled with tropical palms, beneath which locals and visitors can be found sitting and passing the time of day. The town of Moraira was originally a fishing village. Set in a valley running down to the sea. There are no high rise building. There are two beaches. One is in the town and the other is at El Portet which a short drive from the town centre. Club Nautica in the heart of the marina is lovely for a relaxing lunch while watching the boats. There are many good restaurants and bars, Children´s fair, Marina. Many supermarkets, banks and two Internet shops. Nice gift, clothes and shoe shops. The area is idea for families as the town is quite small, very clean and the Spanish are very friendly.. There is a small fair open most of the year. Sol Park tennis club which is walking distance from the villa is good for all levels of player and coaching is available
