Javea, a hidden paradise.

It's been a few months now that I live and work in Javea. Before that I lived in the southern part of the Costa Blanca.

Javea is different in many ways. First and foremost nature. It is very green here. If you drive around the region by car you see a different landscape after every bend. From beautiful pine forests to beautiful residential areas on a mountain slope. Then you think: What a beautiful sea view these villas should have.

Javea consists of three parts. The old town, also called Pueblo. There you will find beautiful narrow streets with midewish facades and also the beautiful church. Furthermore, there are many tapas bars and shops. Secondly, there is the harbour, Puerto, this is a newer part of town with many restaurants, shops and nightlife. Of course we also find here the port with fishing boats and pleasure crafts. Furthermore, there is also a beautiful long pebble beach here. If we follow this we end up at the canal with many moored boats and finally the third part of town: The Arenal, the beautiful fine sandy beach. The only one in the neighbourhood. Here we find a beautiful promenade with a large choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Javea offers something for everyone and is very varied.  If you like walking, you can visit the three parts by foot. You will need one and a half hour. (Without stops in a cosy bar or restaurant.)

In these 3 districts we find beautiful apartments, from super modern residential complexes near the beach to a classical building in the old town. Outside the city we find several villa districts, each with their own style and peculiarities.

Javea has something to offer for everyone. Beautiful beaches, culture and nightlife for holidaymakers. A lively town centre with schools and supermarkets which are more important for the people who live here all year round.

As Javea is located at the southern foot of the Montgo mountain, the tourist traffic passing by from the north often neglects the town, which ensures that Javea has lost none of its charm and is visited by a select public.

Now that I'm here I understand why so many people choose Javea to buy a second of first stay. A beautiful, the city that lives all year door meets friendly people. Here you will find a beautiful villa like an apartment within walking distance of all amenities.
